Help Cateel group was founded by a friend Olan F. Emboscado of The Travel Teller on
December 5, 2012 immediately after typhoon Pablo badly hit our town. I recalled the mixed emotions we had that afternoon. It was a quick decision to meet at Venees Hotel. I am grateful to my friend Pastor Albert Clarito and Pastor Roy Oliveros for the
free accommodation at Destiny Christian Church.
As a response to our kababayan’s needs, we sought help from fellow Cateelenos from all over the globe. On day one we’re able to send one truckload of relief goods. For the whole month of December 2012, We sent 16 truckloads of relief goods delivered to different barangays of our hometown. The group is operating relief operations for almost three months now. Thank you God for our donors, for our supporters, our elders, our key persons and our volunteers. I wish i could post all the photos. I only have few from my file.

Another dear friend Lura Steinl and her boss Mrs. Hermann donated huge amount for Help Cateel from Germany. Also Lura and her husband sent another huge help a week after.
My daughter and her classmates in Abbas Orchard School buying groceries for Cateelenos. Instead of throwing a party for Christmas, they decided to share it with Help Cateel.
Boxes of medicines donated by MBE Pharma. Sent on day 2 to address the emergent needs of our hospital.
I would like to commend Olan, our President
for his unfailing love. This is not an easy task. All of us are
working and doing the operations not to mention that we too are victims as
well. Olan's love for Cateelenos is with out a doubt beyond compare.

My deepest admiration to all the people behind "Help Cateel," it's a selfless act, labor of love, and self-sacrifice. You didn't know that you heal wounds and pains of our kababayan through your altruistic and benevolent gestures. Kudos!

It's also a pleasure to be a channel of God's blessing. Di agaw lalim tama kaw self sacrifice gyud. I just pray for good health ng tanan labi da haw ag silan uwanan tapos sugahan haw ga distribute ng goods. Thanks again. Looking forward to talk to you in person maybe over a cup of coffee or dinner.
